Here is a video tour of my fish room. Warning… this is the longest video I have ever posted.

I’ve been waiting for this.
What type of filters do you use? It looks like the ones on side of tank are homemade…
Those are matten filters, made with Poret foam (which I get from http://www.swisstropicals.com). Very effective, simple technology that provides a huge amount of bio filtration. I can keep a LOT of fish in an aquarium with an established matten filter.
Really nice video! I’ve been following your website since I came across it on Apistogramma.com some years back.
Very nice tour of your fish room Ted. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful fish you’re keeping.
You sure have them laid out in a way that they are all accessible but can still get a lot of them in the room.
Ted, you are amazing. I wish I could do what you do but living within the confines of a strict wife (whom I love dearly, of course!) I would never be able to have a room like yours. That is a dream. I enjoyed soaking up all 15 minutes of your video. Thanks for sharing!
I’d like to sign off by saying I just started a new fish website for beginners, it’s called Fish4beginners.com and even though most of the information is common knowledge for us more advanced hobbyists, I enjoy teaching newbies a few things. However, sometimes it’s good for even advanced hobbyists to go back to basics as it’s the best ground to start from when trying new things.
If you’d like to comment on my of my tips, please do so as I love receiving feedback.
Have a super day!
great looking fish room ! not much space left ,are you thinking of expanding upstairs? (ask your wife first) thanks for the tour (no rams?)
Thank you for taking the time to film this. I truly enjoy your explanation of your fishroom! One of the best fishroom tour!
